The Deepings School is ‘Outstanding’ |
The school was inspected by Ofsted on 23 and 24 November. Lead inspector, Godfrey Bancroft reported that The Deepings School provides its students with an outstanding quality of education. This result places them in the highest tier of schools nationally.
Headteacher, Chris Beckett, is delighted with the outcome of the inspection and said "This judgement is truly reflective of all the hard work and commitment that has taken place at the school over the last few years. We have made significant progress and this outstanding rating was always our target. I am very pleased for the Deepings community and of course our supportive parents and fantastic students. I would also like to congratulate our staff for their efforts and contribution to this success. As a school we are committed to further improvement and I am confident in our ability to achieve this."
Chair of Governors, Jonathan Theobalds, added "Governors are delighted that Ofsted have independently affirmed the exceptional leadership provided by Chris Beckett and the whole school leadership team in continuing to improve the school and standards. We are proud that The Deepings School has been judged to provide an outstanding educational experience for all our pupils, which enables them to fulfil their full potential. We are very fortunate to have this outstanding school at the heart of our community."
